  • Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo 2024 concludes with high praise from industry

    Shanghai, 12 August 2024. Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo (TXCA&CLE) has become “a benchmark for the industry” according to visitor feedback this year, setting the tone for what was once again a highly celebrated edition of one of Asia’s leading textile care events. From 2 – 4 August 2024, 292 exhibitors showcased the latest in digitalised, automated, intelligent and sustainable textile care technology, to 28,682 visiting buyers from 82 countries and regions.

    This year’s fair is expected to cover over 25,000 sqm of floor space. With booth sales now open, key industry players from China and overseas are looking forward to connecting and sharing innovations at TXCA & CLE 2024. Several highlighted exhibitors, including CLM, Eliza, Haier, Jensen, Oasis, Kannegisser, Sankosha, Sea-Lion, Unisec, Weishi and more, have already confirmed their participation.

The upcoming exhibition will cover over 25,000 sqm of space, and is expected to attract more than 300 exhibitors and over 30,000 industry professionals and buyers. Supported by approximately 100 domestic and international associations, TXCA&CLE serves as a vital platform for showcasing cutting-edge laundry technology, innovative products, and green solutions. 


 A platform for innovation and international collaboration 

TXCA&CLE has established itself as a key meeting point for industry players, fostering exchange of knowledge and collaboration between industry peers. Its influence is reflected in the active participation of global industry professionals and the trends it helps shape. The event regularly showcases a diverse range of product categories, including:

Owing to the extensive range of exhibits, the fair attracts a varied visitor profile, including representatives from laundry companies, hotels, hospitals, airlines, and public sector institutions, among others. TXCA&CLE 2025 is expected to draw visitors from more than 80 countries as it did in 2024, highlighting its global appeal.

Exhibitors from the 2024 fair have praised the event for its success in fostering industry innovation and international connections. 


Ms Kylie Zhao, International Sales Senior Manager of Jinan Oasis Dry Cleaning and Laundry Equipment, highlighted the fair’s importance for her company: “We have participated in every edition of this show since our founding. It’s a crucial platform for showcasing our new products and engaging with stakeholders from around the world. At the fair, we introduced ultra-high-speed washer-extractors that meet growing demands for energy efficiency and digitalisation.” 


 Mr Wang Lei, Director of Sales at Shanghai Laundrymate Machine Co, emphasized the role of cutting-edge technologies: “We see the future of the industry driven by energy conservation and consumption reduction, with significant impacts from digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and IoT. The future development directions of AI are particularly promising. This exhibition provides an excellent platform for showcasing products, and we've noticed buyers are increasingly interested in innovative solutions." 


Mr Stefano Pedrioni, National Sales Director of Seko China Ltd, shared his excitement about the development of the industry in China: “The industry in China is very open to trying our technology, and we’ve also observed that Chinese competitors are improving rapidly and so it’s exciting to be part of such a dynamic market. We're very satisfied with the exhibition and plan to attend in the coming years.” 


Mr William Lindqvist Nilsson, Export Manager at Unisec Dry Cleaning Equipment China & Spain, praised the event for its networking opportunities: “Unisec has been attending this show for many years. This exhibition is a great meeting place for distributors, manufacturers, and investors to network and create business connections, which is crucial for branching out into new markets. Participating has been very beneficial for us, with numerous sales and new client connections.” 


 Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo is an annual event organised by the Laundry Committee of China General Chamber of Commerce and the China Light Industry Machinery Association, as well as Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Unifair Exhibition Service Co Ltd. The 2025 edition will be held from 12 – 14 November.
